Because this model has fewer components, it reduces inventory costs and simplifies installation. Our QR™ fastening system is lightweight, has a small envelope, and is quick operating. Most versions lock and unlock in two turns. The QR™ fastener qualifies to MIL-F-22978 and meets MS17731 and MS17732. Positive stud retention is featured. Flush or protruding head styles and various recess configurations are available. Optional stud hold-out grommet is available which provides bottom flush condition. Receptacle provides .020 inch minimum radial float.

Numerous head styles, recesses, sizes, configurations, and materials offer options that fulfill the requirements of any captive screw application. Fully-retracting captive screws automatically retract flush with the panel when released from mating threads, which allows equipment to be removed or installed without the possibility of jamming or damage.
Grommets and hole-liners are used in non-metallic and soft or thin metallic structures. The precision thin-wall sleeves are flared, bonded or riveted to the structure and protect the parent material from damage due to fastener reuse and hole misalignment.
