To advance social equity, inclusion and diversity, Arconic has established a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council, which includes a cross-functional team of Arconic leaders and is chaired by our CEO and coordinated by our Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.  It also includes the executive sponsors and leaders of each of our six Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), which include the Arconic African Heritage Network (AAHN), Arconic Hispanic Network (AHN), Arconic Veterans Network (AVN), Thrive (Women’s Network), and Spectrum (LBGTQ+ network), and the President of the Arconic Foundation. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council is responsible for tackling key objectives under its mission with an initiative we call Grow Together.

Grow Together is a long-term initiative to build awareness, inclusion and commitment among our employees; create a culture as a learning organization; attract, engage and retain diverse talent; and help organizations that are aligned with our own values and social justice objectives. The executive leadership’s involvement demonstrates Arconic’s commitment to maintaining an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, and we celebrate both the differences and similarities among our people.

In 2020, the inaugural year of our Grow Together initiative, employees reported more than 2,200 actions and took countless others to learn more, volunteer their time or make a donation in support of our Grow Together mission to advance inclusion, diversity and social equity.
